Our Materials
Our commitment to excellence spans our processes and our chosen materials. We work with FSC and PEFC certified timbers and European and African A-grade materials, including dyed veneers.
The bespoke, artisanal nature of our work means we’re accustomed to working with unusual materials like eggshell, mother of pearl, and shagreen.
Our specialist in-house expertise includes metalwork, plastics, stone, glasswork, and upholstery.

Celebrating traditional methods, whilst embracing innovation; our workshop is where the magic truly happens. From the selection of finest materials to the careful shaping and assembly, every step in the process is imbued with the craftsman’s expertise and passion. Each curve, joint, and finish is executed with care, ensuring that each piece tells a story of skill and timeless beauty.
Our Process
Our Manufacturing Process Is End-To-End From Design And Survey Through To Final Installation.
Our team manage the whole process from concept to manufacture to on-site installation of your finished piece.
Briefing Process
Clients come to us with an idea, usually via their interior designer or procurement houses. We’ll construct the creative brief to their specifications including particular requirements like cut-outs for electrics, dado rails, LED lighting and more.
We’ll supply fabric, hardware, and finish samples for the client to choose from. Once the details are agreed, we’ll begin production.
Auto-Cad Design
Via a collaborative process, using our in-house CAD technicians, our draughtsman will refine the conceptual design into manufacturing drawings.
Milling, Joinery And Veneering
10,000 square feet of our workshop are dedicated to millwork and machining, where every bespoke piece begins its life as responsibly sourced materials.
Waste wood from our milling machines is used to heat our facility via the use of a biomass machine, reducing our workshop’s environmental impact.
Our cutting process primarily uses our 5-axis CNC machine, guided by our expert programmers, to create complex and intricate designs with high precision.
Designs and geometries that, historically, would have been impossible to machine are now possible with one fixture, and easily repeatable for production at scale.
A large, central area of the workshop is reserved for on-site raw assembly before finishes are applied. It’s how we ensure quality control at every stage of the manufacturing process.
Our workshop has full veneering capabilities, and we work with a wide range of base timbers.
We always carry a selection of natural and exotic materials sustainably sourced from industry-leading veneer suppliers.
Finishing
Many UK manufacturers outsource finishing, but our distinctive skillset allows us to do it in-house, always to an exceptional standard.
Our finishing space spans 5,000 square feet and contains an in-house compressed air spray plant, capable of every finish from primed, to high gloss burnished. We also have the facilities for more traditional oiling, staining, and varnishing.
Metal finishing is an in-house specialism we’re proud of. We’ve invested heavily in this skillset to ensure consistent quality we’ve not found elsewhere. Our metal finishers work regularly with natural brass, bronze, stainless steel, cast metals, and wrought iron. Our ability to shade-match patinas is unrivalled, and we also emboss and engrave.

Our process is an end-to-end experience. We’re experts in our products, so we install every piece, on-site, on your behalf.
